For the love of colors

“There are painters who transform the sun into a yellow spot, but there are others who, thanks to their art and intelligence, transform a yellow spot into the sun.”

Sitting in the park, waiting for you

Sitting in the park, waiting for you-hoo-hoo

Shana, nana, nana...

Yes, I'm sitting right here
Waiting for a-you my dear
Wondering if you’re ever gonna show up...

I don't know if you’re gonna show
My darling I’ve got to go
But nevertheless, I said
You gotta me waiting

Sitting' in the park waiting for you-hoo-hoo
Shana, nana, nana...

Sitting here on the bench….

and a special hello to those of you who have just found your way here!

June Lake Vacation

In Amharic, shereser means vacation, yea…. vacation! We went June Lake, leaving the Fullerton heat wave behind for one whole beautiful week. On my vacation I felt like I saw the edge of heaven…

June Lake is located in Mono County, a beautiful two-hour drive from Yosemite National Park.

We stayed at the Double Eagle Resort, in the midst of nature…. mountains, pine forests, lakes, lots of streams and trails, and the weather was glorious, the tap water, magnificent. In Orange County, I avoid drinking water from the faucet.

We photographed June lake loop. We visited Bodie Ghost Town, Mono Lake, and Mammoth, Devils Postpile, and Yosemite.  I wish you all were here with me…dancing with nature, singing in a paradise.
Any way, here are a few pictures of our week, where the environment makes you feel as if you found somewhere closer to God. Where his miracles shine.
