50th blog post

As this is my 50th blog post, I can't think of a better way to celebrate than by giving the post title
“ Tikure Sew, Tikure dest ”
Yes, I have Teddy Afro’s album “Tikure sew” and yes, I have seen the video clip at least a dozen times… made me cry the first time I saw it. It just reminds me of 911… how America was once united…Tikure sew song and video should touch the heart and soul of those who love their land and it's freedom....
I hope that all the people involved in making the film will get a blessing… a wonderful blessing.

I hope that your week bring a smile to your face.

Inspired by Andy Warhol

I have always been a fan of the famous and admired artist Andy Warhol. Warhol made a name for himself in the 1960’s with his prints and paintings of everyday objects and celebrities.

He uses vibrant colors and patterns. I love the way his artwork adds a special touch to any room. The brightly colored pop art of Andy Warhol makes a real statement in any home.

Here are some great examples…

My precious Sunday Visitor

The dragonfly

“In twilight peace, the sky hums.
Maybe there will be colors.

Without a note, the dragonfly glides,
lands on the tree trunk, watching.

We know of him by his transparent wings,
by his hummingbird size.

He is the leopard of insects.
No mosquito, no gnat, no fly
is safe within his prowling stare.
He flies like the wind.

To the moth, he is death,
To the raven, he is a feast.
He is the predator, until one day,
He is the prey,

like us all.”

By Richard Milewski

I hope you are enjoying summer, storing sweet memories...

A special Selameta to all of you new readers and followers!

All the best,

I’m  so...blessed to live in this country

"And I'm proud to be an American
where at least I know I'm free
And I won't forget the men who died
who gave that right to me
And I'll gladly stand up next to you
and defend her still today
Cuz there ain't no doubt I love this land
God Bless the USA"

May the Lord Our God, guide, bless and watch over America!
Happy July 4th.
