Song of today

It's very nice to go trav'lin'
To Paris, London, and Rome

It's oh, so nice to go trav'lin'

But it's so much nicer,
Yes, it's so much nicer to come home

I'm back from Washington D.C., and I had a good time!

I walked thousands of steps, and saw Lincoln Memorial…Sadly…I didn’t see the cherry blossoms, too late.

Yes I visited Ethiopian restaurants….

Good food and a lot of teff enjera… Some of them could benefit from my interior design work.

Also I have met a lot of great inspirational people…. Washington, D.C., is a full of Ethiopians… just like Addis.

One thing what I perceived while taking a walk on the National Mall is that America never gives up… they never gave up on the civil rights, they never gave up in battle, they never gave up their freedoms. In these times, it is good to remember that we can call on an unconquerable spirit.

Here are some images of the monumental architecture of Washington, D.C., including the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, other notable buildings around town, and the clouds on the way.

Warm regards to you all!

To those of you who still stop by here, thank you - it is lovely to have you here!

Tomorrow, or on next post... I will show you a few more photos of …

the clouds
Welcome to join me then!

All the best,
